The RE 20 Black microphone from Electro-Voice gives a modern makeover to this radio studio staple of many years. Identical to the original model, the Electro Voice RE 20 BK dynamic microphone offers exceptional clarity and definition for spoken and sung voice, without any coloration.
This latter application is particularly important for powerful voices requiring very high sound pressure levels, such as baritones or tenors, who will appreciate the soft, warm reproduction.
During recording sessions or on stage, singers can come into contact with the RE20 Black without fear of excessive pop or sibilance, thanks to its integrated anti-pop filter under the metal grille.
With a true cardioid pick-up pattern, the RE 20 Black offers excellent rejection of unwanted noise, with a frequency response that remains flat even when recording at extreme proximity.
Electro-Voice's broadcast microphone is equipped with a switchable low-cut filter to correct the balance of the spectrum and eliminate excessively low noise and frequencies.
Ideal for recording podcasts, radio shows, audio content and voice-overs, the RE20-BLACK microphone can also be used for capturing brass instruments, drum kits and instrument amplifiers.
