Presentation
The EMG BTS Control is a 2-band active equalizer designed for electric basses. It provides independent control of bass and treble via 2 separate potentiometers.
The single-pole filters used produce a wide, musical EQ. This gives a smoother, more natural response than with more selective filters.
The sound remains clear, balanced and pleasing to the ear, even when the settings are pushed further. The BTS is suitable for basses fitted with active or passive pick-ups. It also features a 2-position dip-switch to adjust the treble slope according to four profiles.
Installation is simple, thanks to the solderless connectors supplied. The BTS Control also includes a stereo jack, drum clip and all the necessary cables.
The system can be operated on 9V for good autonomy, or on 18V for greater dynamics. Each potentiometer has a centre point for easy return to neutral sound.
