EMG - SAX Pickup Set Black

The EMG SAX X Series Pickup Set in Black is a set of single-coil active pickups designed for electric guitars, transforming sound with greater precision and nuance. These pickups feature the iconic Stratocaster™ sound: clear, airy and with rich bass, while being virtually silent thanks to internal shielding and a low-impedance preamp.

A major highlight is their Alnico V magnets. These guarantee a balanced output, even when large string bends are used, resulting in magnificent sonic articulation. The X series preamp improves dynamics and responsiveness. It retains the classic balance between strings. In addition, the VLPF active tone control provides high-frequency attenuation, offering tonal flexibility similar to a passive tone control, but with the benefits of a noise-free active system.

For guitarists, the EMG SAX Set brings authentic single-coil sound without the usual hum, greater expressivity thanks to its dynamic response and an impressive battery life of around 330 hours. The solderless wiring system greatly simplifies installation.

Compatibility with additional controls such as SPC, EXG, PA2 and RPC provides advanced sound customisation options, allowing musicians to sculpt their sound with precision.
