The EMG SX X Series set offers a modern alternative to traditional single pickups, providing greater clarity, less noise and improved responsiveness. Designed for guitarists who want a clean sound while preserving the nuances of their playing and a coherent sound. This set consists of three single-ended active pickups with ceramic magnets and an integrated X-series preamp.
Each pick-up has full internal shielding and a low impedance circuit. The result: linear response, clean attack and faithful reproduction of nuances. The SX brings out the best in every note, whether playing solo or rhythmically, with beautifully articulated lows and precise highs.
The solderless cabling makes for easy installation without the need for a soldering iron, allowing the system to be easily configured according to preference: global or microphone control, addition of options such as RPC boost or EXG EQ. The active VLPF, supplied with the kit, lets you fine-tune the brilliance of the sound, in a similar spirit to a passive tone, but with a more controlled response.
Suitable for a wide range of styles, from funk to hard rock, the SX set maximises the versatility of any guitar fitted with a pickguard.
