Empress Effects - Heavy
In this aptly named box you'll find a wide range of tones, from crisp 80s metal to modern brutality, this little box of sonic chaos does it all. The two independent channels can be used in a similar way so that one channel can be used as solo amplification, or they can be expressed in a completely different way using the medium control in conjunction with the 3-position mid-frequency selector switch. Add separate Weight controls to shape the bass response of each channel, and a global hi / low EQ section that lets you adjust your particular amp and cabinet combination, and you've got a serious tool for creating an extremely heavy sound. On top of all this, it has an extremely responsive noise gate that will ensure quiet operation, even with the most obscene amounts of gain.
