With the Expressive E Osmose 61, a note is no longer simply played or released. Each key responds to the pressure, movements and nuances of your playing to create variations right at your fingertips. This approach allows you to shape a sound without taking your hands off the keyboard or reaching for an external controller. The result is particularly appealing to musicians who enjoy adding depth and movement to their performances.
The EaganMatrix sound engine, developed by Haken Audio, is built directly into the instrument. This gives you a fully self-contained synthesiser capable of producing its own sounds without a computer. The 500 MPE presets make the most of the keyboard’s capabilities, responding differently depending on how you play. Each sound features 8 macros for quickly adjusting the most important parameters.
The Osmose 61 can also serve as the control centre for a modern setup thanks to its MPE, Poly Aftertouch, Multi-Channel and classic MIDI modes. The MIDI DIN and USB connections allow communication with software, synthesisers or external expanders. Two continuous pedal inputs add even more expressive possibilities. The MPE arpeggiator, sensitivity settings and Pressure Glide function allow you to tailor the instrument to your playing style.
The Decksaver cover is designed to the exact dimensions of the Osmose 61 to effectively cover the keyboard and control panel. Its smoked transparent construction helps to minimise exposure to dust, accidental splashes and minor everyday knocks. Its size remains compatible with many bags and flight cases designed for the instrument. The Osmose’s design also incorporates 66 per cent recycled materials and can be completely dismantled using simple tools.
This bundle therefore combines a particularly innovative keyboard with a protective case designed to support its long-term use.
