With Glass Orchestra (downloadable licence), UVI presents a collection of 14 glass instruments based on the work of Jean-Claude Chapuis, with a range of sounds from percussive tones to more experimental textures.

The instruments have been sampled using various playing techniques, allowing you to explore sounds produced by fingers, mallets, sticks or by rubbing. Each instrument features three mixable microphones to adjust the timbre and presence to suit your composition.

The 408 factory presets serve as starting points for utilising the natural sounds or exploring more creative interpretations of them. The integrated environment then allows you to adjust amplitude, filters, modulation, macros and effects, and also includes an arpeggiator/phraser.

Glass Orchestra thus offers a way to explore glass instruments through 78,147 samples and to build sound set-ups tailored to musical productions and sound design.
