Presentation
For an 8-string guitar, a standard pickup can lack definition, but the Fishman Fluence PRF CS8 KM2 set solves this challenge with hybrid technology. Each humbucker has three distinct acoustic personalities, selectable via a push-pull potentiometer. You can switch from one voice to another without latency, right in the middle of a riff.
Designed with guitarist Keith Merrow, this set targets the demands of contemporary metal. The bridge pickup features a mid-range voice for down-tuned mixes, a more vintage voice for melodic passages, and a third ultra-punchy single-coil mode. The neck offers equally varied options.
Fishman active electronics eliminate any hiss, even at high gain. Powered by a 9V battery, you get over 200 hours of playing time, far more than conventional active systems. Recharging is quick and the built-in battery can be changed without tools.
Included with the set: all cabling, push-pull pots and guides for direct installation in a standard cavity. It's a complete and consistent upgrade to transform your instrument into a precise and versatile riffing machine.

To find out more...
Keith Merrow is a multi-faceted musician: guitarist, producer, sound engineer, gear demonstrator and video content creator for over 15 years. He began sharing his compositions on YouTube in 2008, turning a hobby into a career without going through the traditional channels.
His first EP, Lonestar Transcend, compiled tracks written since the 1990s, showing a creative continuity rarely seen in solo artists.
His videos are not just playthroughs: they combine originality, pedagogy and equipment demonstrations, which has brought him to the attention of brands such as Seymour Duncan, for whom he now works in metal artist relations.
