The Fishman PRF-MO7-SVB Fluence Open Core Modern Humbucker pickups push 7-strings to the limit.
In Voice 2, you're aiming for an airy ambience. Less saturated, more open, it calls for ambient textures. It's ideal for laying down taut strings à la Devin Townsend.
In drop A, the ceramic Voice 3 gets its claws out. The harmonics slam like dry lightning. Nothing fuzzy, everything sharp.
For a crash test in Voice 1? "Bleed" by Meshuggah, without hesitation. If that's good enough, everything else will be just fine.
On a low clean string arpeggio, the notes don't step on each other. Even at low volume, each attack remains detached. No blurring at the bottom of the spectrum.
