The Goldring 1012GX is a phono cell designed to deliver accurate, balanced sound reproduction. Its glass-reinforced Pocan® body combines rigidity and lightness, maintaining a total mass of just 6.2 g. This design ensures optimum compatibility with a wide range of tone arms, while controlling natural resonance.
The high-efficiency magnetic circuit, with unsupported coils and mu-metal pole pieces, delivers a powerful, clear signal. Combined with a miniature Alnico V magnet, it guarantees an extended frequency response up to 32 kHz, for smooth, detailed reproduction of recordings. Reduced moving mass contributes to accurate playback and improved cantilever stability.
The replaceable elliptical stylus, with an 8 µm tracking radius, ensures accurate groove reading and excellent channel separation. Each cell is factory-set to a perfectly adjusted azimuth, ensuring even balance and a realistic stereo image.
