The Goldring Elite is a phono cell designed for precise, detailed sound reproduction. Its bare diamond stylus with Gyger S profile adopts a linear contact shape that faithfully reproduces the geometry of the engraving head.
Thanks to its 6-micron radii, it follows the finest grooves, including those of quadraphonic recordings, and ensures playback without sibilance or distortion. The light, rigid aluminium cantilever completes this architecture, allowing the stylus to trace the mid and high frequencies with precision.
Combined with a neodymium magnet, the magnetic circuit is shortened while retaining the necessary power, reducing overall mass and improving compatibility with a wide range of tone arms.
The strong, lightweight Pocan body holds the fixed components in place and contributes to optimum stability. Each cell is hand-assembled and individually adjusted for azimuth and compliance, ensuring consistent channel balance and a coherent stereo scene.
