The Goldring Ethos SE is a phono cell designed to deliver accurate, balanced sound reproduction. It incorporates Ag 9999 pure silver coils, whose low mass and high conductivity reduce internal impedance and improve transient response. This design improves groove tracking and significantly reduces resonance throughout the audio band.
The vital bare diamond line-contact stylus, with its polyhedral profile and large contact area, ensures faithful high-frequency playback. Its low tip mass and light alloy cantilever ensure detailed reproduction while minimising distortion and coloration.
The GOL-1 generator, combined with optimised low-reluctance poles, contributes to a wide and smooth frequency response, particularly in the upper registers. The rigid, lightweight aerospace aluminium body holds components in place while reducing unwanted resonance.
Each cell is carefully tuned to ensure an even channel balance and separation in excess of 30dB, delivering a realistic and coherent soundstage. The Goldring Ethos SE combines mechanical precision and optimised design for smooth, reliable vinyl playback.
