Goldring's Eroica HX2 is a high-level moving-coil phono cell designed to operate directly on a 47 kΩ MM phono input, without modification to the existing system. Its pure-iron cross-armature architecture combined with a Gyger II diamond provides effective channel separation, accurate transient reading and extended reproduction up to 50kHz. Its lightweight, rigid Pocan® body and compatibility with the majority of tone arms make it easy to install on many vinyl turntables.

Presentation
The Goldring Eroica HX2 is a high-level MC phono cell developed for users wishing to access the features of a moving coil design without replacing their existing MM phono preamplifier. Thanks to its 2.5 mV output level and compatibility with 47 kΩ inputs, it can be integrated directly into an installation already equipped for moving magnet cells.
Its architecture is based on a pure-iron cross armature designed to improve stereo channel separation and ensure correct impedance matching. This design also helps to maintain a low level of crosstalk, a characteristic sought after in MC cells. The Gyger II diamond, with a reading radius of five microns, allows high frequencies to be tracked up to 50 kHz while maintaining accurate reading of transients.
The Pocan® body combines rigidity and low mass to protect the internal mechanism without affecting the sound reproduction. Compatible with straight, S- or J-shaped tone arms, the Goldring Eroica HX2 can be mounted on a wide range of turntables thanks to its standard format.
