The Goldring 1022GX MM phono cell combines a glass-fibre-reinforced Pocan body with a low-mass structure weighing just 6.2 g, to limit parasitic vibrations and facilitate pairing with a wide range of tone arms. Its replaceable Vital PH diamond, mounted on an aluminium cantilever, provides a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a minimum channel separation of 25 dB at 1 kHz. Its high-efficiency magnetic circuit with dual unsupported coils and ultra-low-mass Alnico V magnet ensures an output level of 5 mV and extended high-frequency reproduction.

The Goldring 1022GX is an MM phono cell designed around a low-mass architecture to reduce unwanted vibrations and maintain wide compatibility with different tone arms. Its one-piece, fibreglass-reinforced Pocan® body holds the fixed elements rigidly in place, while the replaceable tip holder fits precisely to limit resonances that could alter the audio signal.
The 1022GX incorporates a high-efficiency magnetic circuit consisting of laminated mu-metal pole pieces and dual 4000-turn unsupported coils. This design promotes a high output level of 5 mV and helps preserve high-frequency extension.
The Vital PH diamond is mounted on an aluminium cantilever in conjunction with a miniature Alnico V magnet with very low mass. The whole assembly is suspended in a butyl rubber polymer optimised for vibration control and mechanical stability when playing vinyl records.
