The ToneX One Double Special guitar multi-effects pedal developed by IK Multimedia combines advanced modelling and a rare collection of sounds in a format designed for the stage. Limited to 1000 units worldwide, this edition features overdrive captures from specially sought-after amps, offering an expressive palette ranging from bright clean to rich drive. There are 60 Tone Models and 20 presets designed to enhance your pedalboard.

Presentation
With the ToneX One Double Special Limited Edition pedal, you get 20 directly accessible custom presets. Each setting uses premium Tone Models captured from two amplifiers renowned for their dynamic response and singing sustain.
The modelling is based on the TONEX V2 AI Machine Modeling technology used by IK Multimedia to accurately reproduce the response of tube amplifiers. Captures include multiple channel configurations, gain settings and microphone positions to provide a wide variety of usable sound characters.
The integrated Double Special collection adds a further 40 carefully recorded Tone Models. This gives the musician a total of 60 variations, ranging from amps captured on their own to complete rigs featuring various overdrive pedals used in historic configurations.
The original amps used for the captures come from a private collection and represent two distinct periods of the famous Overdrive Special circuit. The first 1978 model offers an organic, direct response, with open highs and lively mids that faithfully follow the guitarist's attack.
The second amp used for the ToneX One Double Special Limited Edition pedal represents an evolution of the circuit around 1980. It provides firmer bass, precise articulation and note separation even at high gain, making it easier to create tight rhythms and expressive leads.
Captures were made with various combinations of pickups, ribbon and condenser. Models such as the SM57, U87 or R121 provide a range of sound projections, from the precise attack of a modern studio to a broad depth suited to rich mixes.
