Presentation
The spotlights sweep across the stage just as the Jet Guitars JS 400 Black strikes its first chord – a burst of sustain that immediately cuts through the overall mix. This Strat-style solid-body model stands out for its organic resonance, driven by a body made from torrefied poplar (top, back and sides), whose heat treatment removes all moisture to maximise vibration. The ceramic HSS pickup converts this energy into a razor-sharp spectrum: the humbucker bites at the volume knob set to 10, whilst the 5-position switch allows you to instantly sculpt the frequencies, navigating from a raging bridge tone to the velvety roundness of a single-coil pickup, supported by the tone control.
Under your fingers, the instrument responds instantly. Your left hand moulds to the profile of the Modern C neck in roasted Canadian maple, gliding effortlessly over a fingerboard with a radius of 241.3 mm, which facilitates extreme bends across the 22 frets. The 647.7 mm scale length maintains ideal string tension under the pick’s attack, whilst the bone and polymer fibre (post-2025 generation) with a width of 41.9 mm guides the strings friction-free towards the chrome tuning machines. Under pressure, the double-action truss rod shields the neck against temperature fluctuations. The tremolo-style vibrato bridge withstands physical stress and allows the note to drop without detuning the instrument, whilst the elegant tortoiseshell pickguard withstands even the wildest picks.
