Electric Guitar Effects
The Berkeley Fuzz pedal is JHS Pedals' tribute to the rarer version of the unique 741 op amp (version 1). In 1973, effects legend Craig Anderton and John Lang launched Seamoon Inc, the same year they launched their flagship fuzz pedal: the Fresh Fuzz.

Presentation
Initially, the faulty design of the Fresh Fuzz casing caused these Bakelite plastic pedals to shatter when stomped on by guitarists, so Seamoon began re-casing them in metal cases.
Despite inaccurate reviews that the Fresh Fuzz had a narrow sound, it gained popularity and was widely used by artists such as Boston's Tom Scholz and guitar virtuoso Eric Johnson.
Its circuitry is raw, untamed and so pure that it pushes the boundaries of what your instrument can achieve.

The "Legends Of Fuzz" series is JHS Pedals' tribute to the most important fuzz circuits ever created.
It's their way of ensuring that the stories behind these effects live on in the music you create.
From the early fuzz days of the mid-60s London scene to the former Soviet military factories of the 90s that brought the Big Muff back to life, fuzz tells a story, and that story includes guitarists like you.
