With its reduced 23.5-inch scale and its okoume body – a wood known for being lightweight – it follows you everywhere. A carrying case is also provided with the instrument.
Make no mistake, despite its small dimensions, this electric bass guarantees you good playing comfort and offers enough space – 22 frets – to play freely.
Inspired by the brand's California U-Bass, the Solid Body U-Bass also offers a 5-string Kala Round Wounds version.
For precise and stable tuning of the latter, you will find on this model closed tuners with a ratio of 1:18.
On the acoustic side, this model has a thick and fleshy sound thanks to the okoume, but especially thanks to its passive humbucker microphone. You can adjust the sound quality of your bass via the two volume and tone controls.
Its asymmetrical design and glossy finish give it a distinctive style, while its contoured shapes ensure a pleasant grip.
