ARTICLE N° 91552
The Korg Modwave MKII is a wavetable synthesizer designed for sound explorers looking for a powerful, scalable instrument perfectly suited to electronic, experimental and cinematic music. Heir to the DW-8000 of the 80s, this second-generation model features extended 60-voice polyphony, ultra-deep modulation architecture, dynamic performance tools and a wide collection of effects, all in a compact 37-key format.

Designed for organic sound creation, the Modwave MKII offers an unrivalled wealth of modulation features: Kaoss Physics, Modwheel, pitchbend, four assignable potentiometers, five LFOs, four envelopes, two mod processors, etc. The internal modulation matrix allows you to animate sounds with great finesse, linking almost all the parameters to physical, MIDI or contextual controllers. It also incorporates rare functions such as modulation by the number of voices played or exponential velocity.

The wavetables offer a particularly dense and evolving sonic raw material, ideal for producing moving textures, cinematic layers or hybrid percussive sounds. Thanks to the lanes A to D modulation sequencers, you can create internal rhythmic and melodic variations without ever having to trigger a single note from the outside.

The multiblock of effects is up to the task: compressors, EQ, distortions, delays, reverbs, vintage or modern modulations... Each program can combine several sound treatments, controllable in real time or via automation. And with stereo outputs, headphones, MIDI DIN, USB-B port and damper pedal input, the Modwave MKII is just as at home in a studio setup as it is live.

It comes with a generous software bundle, including Reason Lite, iZotope Ozone Elements, Skoove, the Korg Collection M1, UVI Digital Synsations, etc., to enrich your sound palette right out of the box.

Creative, modular and intuitive, the Korg Modwave MKII embodies a new generation of synthesizers that focus on interaction, sonic depth and freedom of play.
