With the CyDrums, Sonicware strikes a blow in the world of drum machines by pushing FM synthesis to its limits. With 6 independent, fully editable synthesis tracks, this little monster is capable of generating an infinite range of percussive textures, from deep kicks to abrasive glitch textures.
The modulation section features three LFOs per track, an envelope generator and several FM algorithms, offering a virtually infinite terrain for sonic exploration. Each sound can be shaped with precision, which will delight sound designers and beatmakers looking for rhythmic originality.
The on-board 64-step sequencer gives advanced control over variations, with probability, pattern alteration and retrigger functions. Everything is designed to enable you to improvise in real time without ever breaking the flow.
The CyDrums also incorporates a master effect with EQ, saturation and compression, perfect for adding body to the whole mix without the need for external processing. Compact and powered by USB-C or an external battery, it's equally at home in the studio or live on stage.
