Electric Guitar Effects

A 2-channel volume pedal with no mechanical wear, Stereo Volume is equipped with high-precision Hall-effect magnetic sensors for wear-free operation.

ARTICLE N° 82514
The Lehle Stereo Volume allows you to send a single signal to two outputs, but also to add two source signals to a single output:
- when a mono signal feeds the device, the Split function creates two output channels.
- When a stereo or dual mono signal is fed to the device, the input summing function transforms it into a mono signal.

In studio and PA applications, for example to control effects or busses, the Lehle Stereo Volume outputs can be used unbalanced (2-pin jacks) or balanced (3-pin jacks).

The sensor in the Lehle Stereo Volume uses the Hall effect, discovered by Edwin Hall, to measure the strength of a magnetic field.
The Hall sensor in the Lehle Stereo Volume is made in Germany and precisely calibrated to the built-in magnet and to the stroke of the rocking plate.
The platter simply moves the magnet, whose distance is measured by the Hall sensor, which in turn controls a VCA (Voltage Controlled Amplifier).
Made in the USA, the high-quality Blackmer VCA replaces the mechanical potentiometer.
The principle of the voltage-controlled amplifier is based on the fact that the amplification varies according to the voltage coming from the Hall sensor. This is far more precise than the mechanical potentiometer or optical sensor of conventional volume pedals, and eliminates potentiometer noise and the need for time-consuming calibration.
