The P7 Alder-4 New Gen Tide Pool from Sire Marcus Miller takes the spirit of classic basses and gives it a modern twist. Its North American alder body ensures an even tonal balance. The torrefied hard maple neck and Edgeless™ fingerboard promote fluid playing. Marcus Super-PJ Revolution pickups paired with the Heritage-3 preamp offer different tonal textures, from the P Bass register to the more defined attacks of the J Bass pickup, with active and passive modes.

Presentation
The P7 Alder-4 New Gen Tide Pool from Sire Marcus Miller takes the basics of the traditional Precision Bass and incorporates developments aimed at comfort and versatility. Its North American alder body delivers a balanced response, with accurate lows, present midrange and controlled highs.
The New Gen C-profile roasted hard maple neck ensures a fluid grip, complemented by an Edgeless™ ebony fingerboard with rounded edges that makes it easy to move around the entire neck.
Stainless steel frets contribute to the instrument's intonation stability and durability. The Dark Forest colour, combined with the white block markers and chrome hardware, reinforces the model's visual identity.
The electronics are based on a Marcus Super-PJ Revolution package, combining the depth of a Precision pickup with the definition of a Jazz pickup. The three-band Heritage-3 preamp, with midrange frequency control and active/passive selection, makes it easy to adapt the bass to different playing environments, from studio to stage.
