Presentation
Moog's Subsequent 37 synthesiser offers all the controls and features of the Sub 37 Tribute Edition, but with a modified sound engine that now includes 256 presets organised into 16 banks of 16 patches.
The 37-key keyboard of the Moog Subsequent 37 has been modified, with velocity and aftertouch, to allow faster action and much smoother, more natural playing.
The Moog Subsequent 37 has an arpeggiator that performs -2/+2 octaves but if you press either of the octave range up and down buttons twice, you'll go into a mode where the arpeggiator will "play all notes in the original octave, second octave, third octave" before going back down in reverse. A superb feature that's sure to please!
A 64-step sequencer and two modulation busses give the Sub 37 a wide range of routing possibilities. Five waveforms (triangle, square, sawtooth, ramp, plus sample and hold) are available, as well as a sixth position for the filter envelope or a controller option.
It's also possible to use an external MIDI CC on the Sub 37 to adjust the modulation depth, for unlimited creative possibilities.
Its built-in mixer doubles the pitch of its predecessor, to offer a wide range of sounds, greatly expanding its performance possibilities. You're in for a treat!

Moog synthesizers are probably the most famous electronic musical instruments of all time. Their designer, Robert A. Moog, was a doctoral student completing his thesis at Cornell University in the early 1960s, earning pocket money by selling a small number of custom-made Theremin instruments. He and a friend were already discussing the possibility of selling other types of electronic kits to hobbyists, when he came up with the idea of selling custom-made electronic synthesizers.
The synthesiser invented by Robert Moog in the 1960s triggered a veritable revolution in electronic music. The Beatles, Mick Jagger and Sun Ra were among the first to buy the famous Moog synthesiser. Moog went on to design dozens of instruments, including the Minimoog.

Pas assez de recul encore pour donner un avis complet. Pour le moment. Je peux dire que la qualité et les sonorités du Sub37 sont très convaincantes. C est mon premier MOOG et je ne suis pas dessus
