Presentation
The Moog Subsequent 37 synthesizer offers all the controls and features of the Sub 37 Tribute Edition, but with a modification to its sound engine, now including 256 presets organized into 16 banks of 16 patches.
The Moog Subsequent 37's 37-note keyboard has been modified, with velocity and aftertouch, to allow for faster action and a much more fluid and natural playing.
The Moog Subsequent 37 has an arpeggiator that performs -2/+2 octaves but if you double-tap either the up or down octave range buttons, you will enter a mode where the arpeggiator will "play all notes in the original octave, the second octave, the third octave" before going back down in the opposite direction. A great feature that will delight many!
A 64-step sequencer and two modulation buses give the Sub 37 a wide range of routing possibilities. Five waveforms (triangle, square, sawtooth, ramp, plus sample and hold) are offered as well as a sixth position for the filter envelope or a controller option.
It is also possible to use an external MIDI CC to the Sub 37 to adjust the modulation depth, for unlimited creative possibilities.
Its integrated mixer doubles the pitch of its predecessor, to offer a wide range of sounds, greatly increasing its performance possibilities. You are in for a treat!

To go further...
Moog synthesizers are probably the most famous electronic musical instruments of all time. Their designer, Robert A. Moog, was a PhD student finishing his dissertation at Cornell University in the early 1960s, and was earning pocket money by selling a small number of custom-made Theremin instruments. He and a friend were already discussing the possibility of selling other types of electronic kits to hobbyists, when he came up with the idea of selling custom-made electronic synthesizers.
The synthesizer invented by Robert Moog in the 1960s sparked a revolution in electronic music. The Beatles, Mick Jagger, and Sun Ra were among the first to get their hands on the famous Moog synth. Moog went on to design dozens of instruments, including the Minimoog.

Pas assez de recul encore pour donner un avis complet. Pour le moment. Je peux dire que la qualité et les sonorités du Sub37 sont très convaincantes. C est mon premier MOOG et je ne suis pas dessus
