It opens up a bi-directional Ethernet highway for audio return, talk-back communications, control data and even PoE power. You replace a bundle of cables with a clean, professional network link. The device thinks for you. Plug in an SDI source, it identifies its format and establishes the optimum link - up to 100 metres. Four inputs and outputs give you instant agility on set. But the magic happens with its dedicated RJ45 ports. These carry the return feeds needed for the cameraman's comfort, essential communications between the control room and the field, and control signals for tally lights or CCUs. The RS232 pass-through even enables motorised lenses to be controlled. Everything flows together, synchronised!

Its compact size and robust Ethercon connector make it a great field tool. It can withstand repeated connections and stage environments. Power can be supplied from the receiver via PoE, further simplifying installation on a camera stand.
