Presentation
Some audiovisual installations leave no room for latency or compression. In these contexts, particularly for video walls, live broadcast applications or critical environments, signal quality must be preserved from end to end. The MuxLab 500768 RX meets this requirement by offering uncompressed HDMI video reception up to 4K at 60 Hz.
This receiver works in conjunction with a compatible transmitter within a 10G Ethernet network, enabling an uncompressed video stream to be transported. The result is an image that is faithful to the source, with no perceptible artefacts or delays. This feature sets it apart from codec-based solutions, which necessarily introduce latency, however low.
Transmission is up to 100 metres via Cat5e or Cat6 cable, while retaining great flexibility in network configuration. The system supports point-to-point architectures, as well as more complex point-to-multipoint or multipoint-to-multipoint deployments. This flexibility means you can build scalable installations, whether for a single room or a network of distributed screens.
The 500768 RX also includes practical features for system integration. A 1G Ethernet port allows additional equipment to be connected directly to the unit, simplifying overall cabling. RS232 and infrared interfaces allow remote control of connected equipment, which is particularly useful in centralised installations.
Management can be carried out via a dedicated network controller or mobile applications, facilitating configuration, maintenance and updates. This approach allows you to maintain an overview of the system while retaining a high degree of operational flexibility.
This type of receiver is ideal for environments where video quality and responsiveness are a priority, such as control rooms, high-end signage installations, events or professional infrastructures requiring precise and instantaneous broadcasting.
