When the priority is image quality and responsiveness, compressed video transport solutions quickly reach their limits. The MuxLab 500768 TX addresses precisely these contexts by offering uncompressed HDMI over IP transmission, capable of preserving the original signal in its entirety.

This transmitter supports video streams up to 4K at 60 Hz and transports them via a 10G Ethernet network infrastructure. Unlike systems that use codecs, here the signal is transmitted as is, without any compression processing. The result is an image that is faithful to the source, with no artefacts or perceptible lag, which is particularly useful in environments where perfect synchronisation is required.

The range is up to 100 metres via Cat5e or Cat6 cable, while retaining great flexibility in network design. The 500768 TX can be used in simple point-to-point configurations, but also in more extensive point-to-multipoint or multipoint-to-multipoint architectures. This capability makes it possible to deploy complex systems such as video walls or large-scale video broadcast networks.

The device also incorporates remote control functions via RS232 and infrared, making it easy to control connected equipment. A secondary 1G Ethernet port enables other network devices to be connected in parallel, simplifying overall integration into an existing installation.

Centralised management can be provided via a dedicated controller or mobile applications, enabling parameters to be adjusted, the network to be monitored and the system to be kept up to date. This approach offers a global view of the installation while retaining great flexibility of use.
