Presentation
In infrastructures where the supervision of several machines is required, KVM over IP solutions make it possible to centralise operations while retaining full access to remote systems. The MuxLab 500772 TX is part of this approach, offering combined video and USB transmission with support for 4K resolutions.
This model connects directly to a computer or server via HDMI and USB, then transports these signals over a standard Ethernet network. Remotely, a compatible receiver displays the image on a screen and allows USB peripherals to be connected, offering an experience similar to local access. This architecture makes it possible to manage several machines from a single workstation, with great flexibility of use.
Support for resolutions up to 4K at 30 Hz in 4:4:4, as well as 4K at 60 Hz in 4:2:0, means that display quality is maintained for graphics applications, design environments or systems requiring good legibility of detail. HDR support completes the picture by improving contrast and colour reproduction.
The system can be deployed over distances of up to 100 metres via Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It supports simple point-to-point configurations, as well as more extensive point-to-multipoint architectures. In a larger network, a user can switch between different transmitters via keyboard commands, making it easy to manage multiple stations without physical handling.
The 500772 TX also incorporates audio management, with insertion and playback functions adapted to communication or monitoring needs. The PoE power supply simplifies installation by reducing the amount of cabling required, making it easy to integrate into existing infrastructures.
This type of solution is particularly well suited to data centres, control rooms, design environments or multimedia broadcast systems, where centralised control and display quality are crucial.
