Presentation
In a meeting room or educational environment, connectivity must be immediately accessible without complicating installation. The MuxLab 500777 TX meets this need by integrating an interface directly into a wall, capable of recovering several types of signal and sending them over an AV over IP network.
This model accepts both an HDMI source and VGA equipment, with integrated audio management. This dual compatibility means you can connect recent computers as well as older machines, without the need for external adapters. The source can be selected automatically or manually, simplifying the sequence of speakers in a single session.
The special feature of this model is the addition of USB connectivity. This enables peripherals such as interactive screens or control devices to be transported over the network, opening the way to more advanced uses, particularly in collaborative or educational environments. The user workstation can interact with a remote system without a direct connection.
Once the signals have been picked up, the transmitter transmits them via a Cat5e or Cat6 cable over a distance of up to 100 metres. This transmission can be used in a simple configuration or in more extensive architectures with several transmitters and receivers. The system can be upgraded to multipoint installations or complete AV networks without modifying the main infrastructure.
Resolution management covers up to 4K at 30 Hz over HDMI, with support for 4:4:4 and 4:2:0 formats, ensuring consistent playback for different content. The whole system is HDCP 2.2 compatible, guaranteeing support for protected sources.
In terms of integration, the wall-mounted format makes for a clean, discreet installation. The PoE power supply reduces the amount of cabling required, a significant advantage in fixed installations. Control can be performed locally via a button or remotely via a network interface, making administration easier in centralised environments.
