The NovaStar MTH310 sensor monitors the temperature around an LED installation in order to provide the control system with thermal data that can be used directly. Its sensor covers a measurement range of −20 to +75 °C and connects, in particular, to the NovaStar MFN300 multifunction board. With its 5-metre cable and IP65 rating, it can be positioned at a distance from the control electronics, including in set-ups where the equipment is installed in an environment exposed to outdoor conditions.

Ambient temperature is a useful parameter for monitoring the operation of an LED installation, particularly when the equipment is spread across a control room, a technical area and the screens themselves. The NovaStar MTH310 temperature sensor transmits this measurement directly to the control system, providing accurate information on the thermal conditions around the installation.
The sensor measures temperatures ranging from −20 to +75 °C. This range allows monitoring of both cold-weather operating conditions and temperature rises that may occur around an LED screen or in a technical area. In particular, the MTH310 can be combined with a NovaStar MFN300 multifunction board to integrate this data into the monitoring system.
Its 5-metre cable allows the measurement point to be positioned away from the equipment to which it is connected. This distance makes it easier to position the sensor in an area representative of the actual temperature, rather than directly at the control board. The cable can be extended up to 100 metres depending on the chosen configuration.
No additional power supply is required for installation. The MTH310 operates at 5 V DC and is powered by the compatible NovaStar equipment. This feature simplifies cabling and avoids the need to add a dedicated power supply solely for the sensor.
