Novastar - Taurus Module 4G

The benefit of Novastar’s 4G module becomes apparent when the LED installation is located at a site where no Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection is available, or when access to the local network is not convenient enough to ensure communication with the media player.

The module uses the 4G network to establish a connection with the media player. An external SIM card is required to access the mobile network, whilst the antenna supplied with the module provides the radio connection. Once installed in a compatible Taurus media player and paired with a SIM card offering the appropriate service, the system can thus remain accessible remotely without relying on a LAN or a Wi-Fi access point.

This capability is particularly useful for LED screens installed in remote locations, on temporary structures or in places where a network connection has not been provided. The Taurus player thus maintains a communication link even when the installation lacks nearby IT infrastructure.

The Taurus 4G Module is compatible with the entire range of Taurus multimedia players. It is simple to set up, as the module operates without the need for any specific drivers. It is therefore an extension designed specifically for connectivity rather than additional video processing equipment.
