This is particularly useful when using effects pedals with no real bypass, which destroy the guitar sound through loading, or old pedals that add parasitic noise to the signal.
Each loop can be used separately or the two can be used in series. For example, you could have saturation pedals in loop 1 and effects such as flangers and phasers in loop 2. They can be combined if required.
You can also pre-configure and then activate two completely different effect configurations.
Compact for use on a pedalboard, the pedal you plug in and play is easy to use: On one side there's a jack-format input for the guitar, on the other a jack-format output for the amp. In between, on the top, there are two sets of send and return jacks for various pedals.
Each effects loop is fitted with a ground lift switch to reduce noise and hum produced by ground loops.
Effects loop 2 can also be set to mute to tune your guitar silently.
