Roland - Roland Cloud PROMARS
Brother to the legendary JUPITER-4, this rare and wonderful synth from 1979 has a distinct voice with a thick, rich sound that is highly sought after on the second-hand market. Precisely replicated right down to the circuitry, the PROMARS Plug-In produces voluminous basses and leads with the distinctive characteristics of Roland synths from this period.
Presentation
While the JUPITER-4 had one VCO and one sub-oscillator per voice, the PROMARS had two of each. Users could detune them to produce a very special unison chorus effect and obtain sounds similar to those of a four VCO synth. The result was massive, endorsed by anyone looking for heavy bass and uplifting leads.

PROMARS is also a PLUG-OUT synthesizer that can be integrated with Roland's physical SYSTEM-8, SYSTEM-1 and SYSTEM-1m synthesizers. This means you can use it in your home studio or play it on stage without a computer with exactly the same sounds. You can even switch sounds back and forth between computer and physical instruments, and use the latter as controllers.
