ZENOLOGY Pro works seamlessly with compatible Roland physical instruments such as the FANTOM and JUPITER-X, as well as the RD-88. In ZENOLOGY Pro, you can create your own ZEN-Core sounds for use in your favourite music software and physical instruments. You can even share modelling extension sounds between ZENOLOGY Pro and JUPITER-X/Xm.
The ZEN-Core Synthesis System incorporates a multitude of detailed parameters for developing large, complex sounds animated by movement. With its clear, resizable interface and multiple editing views, ZENOLOGY Pro gives you access to every aspect of ZEN-Core, allowing you to create any sound you can imagine.
ZEN-Core is ultra-versatile and based on discrete synthesis voices, called partials, each containing an oscillator, filter, amplifier and double LFO per step. You can use up to four partials simultaneously, with thousands of waveforms, 10 filter types modelled and 11 LFO shapes available. By combining several types of synthesis, rich effects and numerous modulation possibilities, you can create incredible sounds that will fuel your inspiration.
ZENOLOGY Pro offers a wide selection of ready-to-play drum sounds, including Roland's famous drum machines, acoustic kits, electronic sounds and exotic hybrid kits based on layers and combinations. You can use them as they are in your compositions, or mix them together to create the kits of your dreams. There's a multi-edit view for precise control over every element of the kit, and six drum compressors for maximum punch and impact.

With four partials per sound, you get eight simultaneous LFOs per patch!
