Schecter's Pasadena Combo Pickup Set Traditional Black combines two Alnico V magnet humbuckers: the Pasadena Classic neck pickup is designed for a vintage PAF sound (8.4k ohms), while the Pasadena Plus bridge pickup is twice as powerful (16.0k ohms) for more aggressive rock sounds. Both pickups use 4-conductor wiring that allows them to be split into single coils (coil-split), offering maximum versatility for easy switching between thick (humbucker) and bright, clear sounds (single-coil).

Schecter's Pasadena Combo Pickup Set Traditional Black has been designed for guitarists looking for a rich, organic sound inspired by the first generations of double-coil pickups. This passive set perfectly blends power and clarity, while retaining the natural dynamics of playing.
The bridge pickup has a resistance of 16.0 kΩ, offering a firm attack and precise grain, while the neck pickup, at 8.4 kΩ, delivers a full, balanced warmth. Each pickup is based on a direct-coupled Alnico V construction, a choice that accentuates harmonic response and enhances midrange presence without excessive brightness.
The solid nickel and silver baseplate ensures stable conductivity, while the adjustable nickel-plated carbon steel pole pieces allow for fine-tuning of the balance between the strings. Thanks to its four-conductor wiring and split-coil design, the Pasadena Combo opens the way to a wide range of sounds, from vintage crunches to more modern saturations.
