Schecter's Stiletto Extreme 4 See Thru Black is a 4-string bass that combines strong aesthetics with sonic performance. Schecter's Stiletto Extreme 4 See Thru Black is aimed at bassists who are looking for fluidity of play and versatility of sound. Its screw-down maple neck, with its slim 'C' profile, offers instant comfort, even over long sessions. The rosewood fingerboard is fitted with 24 X-Jumbo frets, so you can explore the whole range with ease, from deep bass lines to more melodic phrases at the top of the neck.
With 38 mm at the nut and a thickness of 22 mm at the 12th fret, the ergonomics remain natural, favouring a fluid transition between speed and precision. The mahogany body, combined with a quilted maple top, gives a warm base to the bass while adding brilliance and clarity to the treble. This combination of woods is ideal for achieving a balanced, responsive spectrum.
The Schecter Diamond Bass neck and bridge pickups faithfully reproduce these characteristics, with the option of adjusting the sound colour using the mixer and active 2-band EQ. The Diamond Bass bridge and Schecter tuners ensure reliable tuning throughout the 34-inch scale. In terms of aesthetics, the See Thru Black finish highlights the veins of the top, underlined by black chrome hardware, for an identity that's both sober and assertive.
