Schecter's SuperRock Vintage Floyd Black spacing set has been designed for guitars equipped with Floyd Rose tremolos, where precision and stability are essential. This duo of passive humbuckers is based on a split-coil design, coupled with a 4-conductor harness that allows different wiring configurations, from a full vintage sound to a clearer, more dynamic register.
Each pickup is built around a direct-coupled Alnico V construction, a choice that favours a natural, balanced response. The carefully machined nickel-plated carbon steel pole pieces ensure excellent volume consistency between strings, while the solid nickel/silver base plate enhances magnetic stability while providing a slight midrange emphasis.
With resistors of 9.0 kΩ at the bridge and 7.9 kΩ at the neck, the set delivers an output level suitable for both sustained rhythmics and more expressive solos. The 49mm spacing between the two pickups ensures a perfect match with modern vibrato bridges. Sober in black, this set balances vintage and versatility with consistent musicality.
