Schecter's SuperRock Vintage Floyd Chrome Set is designed for guitars equipped with Floyd Rose tremolos, where precise playability and sonic stability are paramount. This duo of split-coil passive humbuckers features four-conductor wiring, allowing for a variety of configurations: from a full, warm vintage sound to airier, more dynamic textures in split-coil mode.
Each pickup is based on a direct-coupled Alnico V magnet, guaranteeing a natural response, rich in harmonics and balanced across the spectrum. Adjustable nickel-plated carbon steel pads ensure an even balance between the strings, while the solid nickel-silver base plate enhances magnetic stability and adds bite to the midrange.
With a resistance of 9.0 kΩ at the bridge and 7.9 kΩ at the neck, the set offers ideal output for both powerful rhythmics and expressive solos. The 49mm spacing on each pickup ensures perfect compatibility with modern bridges. The sober chrome finish completes a discreet but effective design, designed for demanding guitarists looking for versatility and authentic musicality.
