The cabling is based on a shielded braided conductor, designed to repel interference and preserve signal purity. The nickel-plated nickel-silver base plate ensures a stable, even magnetic field. Inside, six metal screws with philister heads act as adjustable studs, while two Alnico V bar magnets shape the magnetic voltage with consistency.
In the bridge position, the pickups have a resistance of 8.7 kΩ; in the neck position, 7.4 kΩ - moderate values that strike the right balance between clarity and mellowness. The demanding guitarist will notice a clean attack in the touch, an ability to push the amp without collapsing, and articulation that keeps each note in the mix.
