Featuring Alnico V magnets and a 4-conductor split-coil design, these mid-range pickups deliver a detailed, focused sound, even allowing for single-coil rick-o-jangle tones when split.

When you fit Schecter's Z-Plus Pickup Set Black to your electric guitar, you give it access to another dimension of sound. The universal design (approx. 49 mm spacing) means it fits seamlessly into most standard cavities.
The four-conductor wiring, combined with a split coil, allows you to switch from a dense humbucker to a brighter mode, useful for varying between rhythm and lead. The solid nickel-silver base plate ensures magnetic stability, while the twelve adjustable high-carbon steel pads allow you to adjust positioning and dynamics to suit your strings and neck.
The Alnico V magnet in direct-coupled construction helps deliver a fast, full-bodied response without going overboard. The result for the professional guitarist is clean articulation in the mix, excellent compatibility with effects and amps, and a feeling of optimal control despite a moderate output (around 10-12 kΩ depending on version) as indicated in the official specifications.
