The Schecter Z-Plus Chrome humbucker set features a distinctive 12-pin design and metal cap, offering a faithful reproduction of the clean look and sound of Schecter's early years. Thanks to their Alnico V magnets and 4-conductor split-coil design, these medium-output pickups offer a detailed, focused sound, capable of reproducing the rick-o-jangle tones typical of single coils when split.

Installing Schecter's Z-Plus Pickup Set Chrome means rethinking the sonic response of your electric guitar with a balanced approach to definition and power. Designed to fit a wide range of configurations thanks to its universal 49 mm spacing, this set of passive humbuckers integrates easily while preserving signal coherence.
The four-conductor cabling and split-coil design provide real versatility, moving seamlessly from a tight, full sound to a clearer texture, ideal for transitions between driving rhythms and airy solos. The solid nickel-silver base plate stabilises the magnetic flux, while the twelve high-carbon steel pads allow the level of each string to be fine-tuned to suit your style.
The direct-coupled Alnico V magnets deliver immediate response and a natural balance between bass, midrange and treble. With a resistance of around 10 kΩ, the Z-Plus maintains a precise attack and even projection, even when saturated. In the studio or on stage, it gives the professional guitarist constant control over the density of the sound, without sacrificing clarity or sensitivity.
