Presentation
The SE Electronics DM3 Inline DI Black has all the features of the DM3 in a matt black finish, while retaining the same compact size and functionality. This active inline DI box lets you connect an instrument directly to a microphone input via a balanced XLR output.
Its 6.35 mm TRS jack input offers a high impedance of up to 10 MOhms, allowing signals from guitars, basses or piezo sensors to be properly exploited. This high impedance helps to preserve the behaviour of the microphone or pick-up without altering the signal.
The DM3 Inline DI Black operates from a +48V phantom power supply and incorporates a Class A active buffer. This circuit adapts the signal and transmits it to a console or interface with a stable level and limited noise.
The input level allows a variety of sources to be processed, including strong signals from keyboards, synthesizers or drum machines. A ground lift system is integrated to limit noise from ground loops, as well as an interference reduction device.
The jack connector features a locking system to prevent accidental disconnection during use. The in-line format means it can be set up quickly in the studio or on stage.
