Presentation
The SE Electronics Harp Blaster HB52 is a dynamic microphone specifically designed for the harmonica, developed in collaboration with Hohner. Its compact size and grip make it easy to play in the cup position commonly used by harmonica players.
Its omnidirectional pick-up pattern ensures that the sound is picked up evenly, while retaining the playing character of the hand position. This configuration is particularly well-suited to the expressive techniques of amplified harmonica playing.
The microphone incorporates a directly accessible volume control, based on a Bourns® potentiometer. This makes it possible to adjust the level in real time, particularly in live situations, without having to use the amp or console.
Its high impedance of 45 kOhms allows direct connection to guitar or harmonica amplifiers, without the need for additional matching. This behaviour is sought after to achieve a natural interaction with the amp input.
The dynamic capsule, combined with a copper coil and neodymium magnet, delivers a high level of output. The frequency response of 22 Hz to 16 kHz covers the entire useful spectrum of the instrument.
The HB52 is supplied with all the accessories needed for transport and maintenance, making it ideal for regular use in rehearsals, on stage or for recording.
