SE Electronics - V KICK

The sE Electronics V Kick is a microphone dedicated to sources rich in low frequencies, with a design geared towards capturing kick drums and instruments requiring impact and legibility. Its compact size makes it easy to place, even in tight configurations, without compromising pick-up quality.

Its dynamic DMC7 SB capsule, derived from the technologies used on the V7 and V7 X, ensures solid, defined reproduction. The microphone delivers a sound adapted to low frequencies, while retaining good midrange articulation, which helps to maintain precision in the mix. This approach avoids a sound that is too fuzzy or excessively loaded at the bottom of the spectrum.

One of the key features of the V Kick is its four selectable voicings. Thanks to these settings, it is possible to adapt the character of the pick-up according to musical style or drum type. The result can evolve from a rounder, more natural approach to a more modern signature, with more attack and presence. This flexibility means you can limit the number of corrections you need to make beforehand, and get a sound you can use straight away.

Its supercardioid polar pattern helps to isolate the source effectively, reducing unwanted feedback from other elements of the kit. This makes it easier to work both live and in the studio, particularly in complex environments.

The V Kick also incorporates an internal capsule suspension system, limiting mechanical vibrations and improving signal stability. Its metal chassis, reinforced grille and gold-plated XLR connector ensure durability over time.
