The sE Electronics V7 Gold uses the same architecture as the V7 in a gold-finish version, while retaining the elements that have made it such a success on stage. It is designed for live configurations where vocal legibility and feedback control are essential, without sacrificing reproduction quality.

Its supercardioid directional characteristic concentrates the pick-up on the main source while limiting surrounding noise. This makes it easy to use on noisy stages or with powerful returns, while maintaining good stability. This precision also helps to maintain constant intelligibility, even when the singer changes position.

The dynamic capsule, combined with an aluminium coil and neodymium magnet, delivers a balanced sound. The midrange remains well defined, the treble is present without being excessive, and the bass maintains a certain stability. This response means that the V7 Gold can be easily integrated into a live mix without the need for major corrections.

The internal suspension system effectively limits handling noise, an important factor in stage performance. The steel grille and all-metal construction ensure good resistance to the stresses of transport and repeated use.

The internal windscreen is interchangeable, with a black version supplied as an accessory, allowing slight adjustments to be made in response to plosives and airborne noise.
