The timbre of Duality pickups comes from an assembly of traditional coils and an Alnico magnet, as in all passive humbuckers, for soft sustain and rich harmonics, combined with an active preamp designed to underline and enhance these natural qualities while offering the headroom and power that only active models are capable of providing.
