Warmer and richer in punchy overtones than traditional Strat pickups, the SSL-3's raised Alnico 5 magnets are larger for a stronger, deeper magnetic field that increases output, and the supercoiled coil offers extra power and warmth, ideal for getting heavy, dense tones out of a Strat.
