The Shure MXW2-SM86 is a cardioid condenser handheld transmitter, part of the versatile Shure Microflex Wireless system, ideal for conferences, broadcasts or concerts, thanks to its SM86 capsule designed for exceptional vocal clarity with a distinctive timbre that captures the subtle nuances of the voice and offers a wide frequency spectrum with a slight bump in the midrange pickup characteristic of Shure.
The Microflex Wireless system is equipped with charging stations (MXWNCS2 / MXWNCS4 / MXWNCS8), access point transceivers (MXWAPT2 / MXWAPT4 / MXWAPT8) and multichannel interfaces (MXWANI4 or MXWANI8) that allow for a modular networked system that can be adapted to your needs via the Microfex Wireless control software.
Equipped with a lithium-ion battery, the MXW2-SM86 provides up to 15 hours of battery life with a quick 3-hour charge, enhanced by a remotely activated sleep mode for increased reliability in all professional applications. Secure communications are ensured by 256-bit AES encrypted transmission and a wireless range of 50 meters, with an alarm if the distance is exceeded.
The MXW2-SM86 is easy to pair via the wireless link function and the MXWNCS charging station link. It offers a configurable mute button and external control options tailored to specific user needs such as "Push to Talk" and "Push to Mute". A low battery LED indicates, with the possibility of recharging via standard USB-A and the ability to pair another microphone on the same channel for redundancy when needed.
