The Shure ULXD2 N8CB K51 is a digital wireless handheld transmitter designed to work with ULX-D systems, delivering superior sound quality and exceptional RF reliability. Its 24-bit/48 kHz audio processing ensures faithful signal reproduction, capturing every nuance with unmatched clarity.
The centerpiece of this transmitter is the Nexadyne 8/C cardioid capsule, which provides effective directivity and optimal isolation from ambient noise. Its cardioid polar pattern is ideal for stage and conference applications, minimizing unwanted noise interference while ensuring clear, intelligible voice projection.
The ULXD2 N8CB K51 operates on the K51 frequency band (606 - 670 MHz), offering great flexibility in frequency allocation and excellent resistance to interference. It also features Shure Gain Ranging technology, which automatically adjusts dynamic range and eliminates the need for manual gain adjustments.
This transmitter provides up to 12 hours of battery life when powered by the SB900B lithium-ion battery (sold separately). It can also be used with two AA batteries, providing a convenient alternative for extended use. External charging contacts allow for quick recharging via compatible SBC200 and SBC220 docking stations.
Ergonomically, the ULXD2 is designed for intensive use on tour or in the studio, with a rugged metal housing and a backlit LCD display that offers intuitive menu navigation. Its infrared Scan and Sync function allows for quick and error-free pairing with the receiver.
