Shure - ULXD2 SM58 G56

The Shure ULXD2 SM58 G56 is the reference handheld transmitter for ULX-D digital systems, combining the strength and iconic sound signature of the SM58 with the advanced performance of the ULX-D platform. It incorporates the SM58 cardioid dynamic capsule, renowned for its clarity, balanced timbre and ability to bring the voice to the forefront of the mix, whatever the stage environment. This capsule has left its mark on generations of artists, becoming one of the world standards for live vocals.

The ULXD2 transmitter is based on a 24-bit / 48 kHz digital architecture offering an extended bandwidth from 30 Hz to 20 kHz (depending on the capsule used). Digital processing guarantees faithful, accurate and perfectly controlled reproduction, while the Gain Ranging function automatically adjusts the dynamic range to avoid manual gain adjustments, whatever the power of the vocal source. Built-in AES-256 encryption ensures total confidentiality of transmissions, essential for sensitive business events.

The ULXD2 SM58 can run on AA batteries or Shure SB900/SB900C lithium-ion batteries, providing over 9 hours of battery life, accurate hour and minute tracking and no memory effect. Built-in charging contacts allow direct charging in the SBC200 or SBC220 stations, an essential feature when performing. Its lightweight yet robust aluminium construction is built to withstand intensive use, while frequency and power locks prevent accidental changes.

The backlit LCD display makes it easy to navigate, and full integration with Wireless Workbench® provides advanced network management for multi-channel installations. Thanks to its integrated antenna and optimised design, the ULXD2 guarantees excellent RF stability, long range and reliability for the most demanding scenes.
