The SSL ULTRAVIOLET 500 is a 4-band stereo equalizer from the 500 series, which incorporates the famous FUSION minimum phase shift EQ section. With the addition of two dedicated midrange bands and a unique Focus control, the ULTRAVIOLET EQ offers the ultimate equalisation flexibility for your audio projects.
Focus mode is one of the most exciting features of ULTRAVIOLET EQ. It allows the user to focus on problematic frequencies or to highlight specific frequencies. By activating the "Focus" switch, you can automatically reduce the selected Q setting and increase the available gain range beyond normal operation by +/-9 dB. This feature offers a high degree of precision in frequency correction for an optimal sound experience.
The minimum phase High and Low shelving bands inherited from Fusion are seamlessly integrated into ULTRAVIOLET EQ. The two fully parametric SSL midrange bands are equipped with a "Focus" mode, allowing them to be focused on specific frequencies. The high-pass filter with 5 selectable frequencies and dedicated output control offer greater control over sound reproduction.
